"Swing Back to the '40s"
Join us for the most romantic night of the Season!!! Swing Back to the time of glamour, enchantment, and big bands on Saturday, November 9th! This night will be benefiting Pacific Historic Parks featuring a silent auction, dancing with a live big band, costume contests, gourmet hor'dourves, buffet dinner, and the unique opportunity to get your picture taken with vintage warbirds!.
We are thrilled to have the “Mike Lewis and Friends Big Band” playing the hits of the ‘40s! Love music, but don’t know how to swing dance? No worries! Hawaii Jitterbugs will be in attendance ready to teach you all you need to know to have a blast!
Dress Code: 1940’s style dress and pinup fashion are highly encouraged, but not necessary. Feel free to join us in formal apparel, aloha semi formal, or military dress uniform!
Due to changes in Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam Base Access policy, we are no longer able to get base driving privileges for our civilian attendees, in turn we have been granted access for our guests to park their vehicles in the Parking Lot of the Pearl Harbor National Memorial (1 Arizona Memorial Place, Honolulu, HI, 96818) and there will be free bus shuttle service to and from the event venue.
Want to flaunt what you got? We will have prizes for Gorgeous Pinup, Most Dapper, and Best Couple!
